YOUTH AND TEEN Levels III & IV Ages: 6 – 12 This class is for the more advanced swimmer. Skills to be taught include: Front and back crawl, breastroke, butterfly and elementary backstroke. Swimming underwater, rotary breathing, gliding and floating, treading water, jumping and diving into the water, wearing life jackets, water rescue skills and water safety rules are emphasized. Your child will learn to independently swim continuous laps. Code: 15045 Sundays, 1:15 – 2:00 p.m. October 12 -December 7 (8 weeks) $85 M / $135 NM (No class November 30) Code: 15046 Mondays, 4:15 – 5:00 p.m. October 13- December 1 (8 weeks) $72 KP / $85 M / $135 NM Levels V & VI Ages: 6 - 12 This class is for the child who has successfully completed all previous levels and is looking to improve swimming technique and gain endurance. Skills to be taught include: Front crawl, back crawl, breastroke, butterfly, elementary backstroke and sidestroke. Floating, treading water, surface dives, diving from the side, swim turns, fitness swimming techniques and water safety are introduced. Your child will gain valuable stroke techniques and strive to advance to the swim team.
