Summer Swim Team
Building successful individuals through
competitive swimming that teaches teamwork,
sportsmanship and having fun
Ages: 5 – 18
The Dolphin club merged with the Rockville
Racers for the first time in the Summer of
2019. Together we make up a strong Division 2
swim team in the Greater Richmond Aquatics
League (GRAL). Summer Swim team is a great
way for your child to improve their swimming
skills while introducing them to the world
of competitive swimming in a fun, relaxed
atmosphere.
*Hilbert campers are provided with practice
during the camp day and transportation to
away meets!

Swim meets are usually on Wednesdays, with 6
meets in the season

Member Registration starts February 3
Pre-Fins Group 
Non-member Registration starts February 24
New this year, Dolphin Club will be offering two groups within Pre-Fins, helping ensure
that each swimmer is in the practice environment that will help them have the greatest
experience in a setting appropriate for their needs. We will be offering “Beginner Novice”
practices two days a week for 30 minutes each, while also providing a more challenging
“Novice” practice three days a week for 45 minutes. (Children in our Kids’ Place and
Childcare programs will be walked to and from practice by a JCC staff member.) Parent meeting: April 22 from 5:30 - 7:00 pm
Beginner Novice Program: Swimmer must be at least 5 years or older and be able to
complete a 25-yard freestyle and/or backstroke without assistance. JCC members: $150
non-members: $200

Novice Program: Swimmers must be 5 years or older and be able to swim a 25-yard length
of the pool using legal freestyle, backstroke and breaststroke or butterfly (at least 3 of the
4 strokes).
