Ski at Wintergreen

Youth Programs at the Weinstein JCC
The Weinstein JCC Youth Department is excited to
once again offer a ski trip for youth in grades 6-8!
Teens will be hitting the slopes to enjoy skiing or
snowboarding. Never been skiing/snowboarding
before? Not a problem, all levels and abilities are
welcome. The price of the trip includes a lift ticket,
rentals, lessons and snacks. Please bring a bag
lunch.
$150 JCC members / $175 non-members

Laser Tag Lock-in
Saturday, April 18
10:00 pm - 8:00 am
Grades: 6 – 8
Join us for 4 hours of non-stop laser tag fun,
followed by all night activities at the J. Kids will
have the place all to themselves for the night
while they play unlimited laser tag, enjoy arcade
games, team activities, and plenty of food and
snacks.

Savor those last moments of Spring Break with a
day packed full of fun! Join us as we spend the
day fieldtrip-hopping around Richmond. More

CHANUKAH CHAI’LIGHTER PARTY
Grades: 6 – 8
We will be celebrating the Festival of Lights, under blacklights! Middle Schoolers should come wearing white
clothing that they will personalize and decorate with highlighters and glow-in-the-dark paint, for an awesome
glow-in-the-dark effect. We’ll have a DJ, games, Chanukah themed activities, latkes and sufganiyot (jelly donuts).

THE COMMUNITY LEADERSHIP CORPS
Ages: 12 – 17
NEW
This course welcomes students of all abilities and experience levels who wish to build their leadership,
interpersonal, and proactive problem-solving skills while having fun with friends. The Community Leadership
Corps is structured around developing the future generation of leaders while youth enjoy adventures that test
their teamwork and explore their personal values. Youth will enjoy hiking while learning to navigate trails of the
Appalachian like Humpback Rock and explore camping at Virginia State Parks. Youth will learn what it means to be
good citizens when working with others. Participants will experience the joys and challenges of leading others in
a supportive environment while developing canoe, rafting, and paddle skills on the James River as they learn to
navigate the river and life. Max 25 participants.
January 11 - March 16 (Days of the week vary, some Saturdays and Sundays included)
