The Weinstein JCC is an inclusive organization that welcomes people of all abilities and is committed to serving the unmet needs of individuals with developmental disabilities through social , educational and recreational opportunities . In addition to our inclusive preschool and after-school programs , there are wonderful friendship and enrichment programs for both children and adults with special needs throughout the year .

Adult Circle of Friends
An intimate , supportive group for adults with special needs Instructor : Shari Menlowe-Barck Ages : 22 +
The Adult Circle of Friends is a social and recreational group for adults with special needs . The focus of this group is on learning new social skills and making friends . The group meets once a month and will remain at the Weinstein JCC for planned activities .
This group is intimate and supportive by design . Participants need to be able to transition well into new settings and feel comfortable in public places .
$ 25 JCC members per event $ 30 non-members per event
Kesem Inclusive Theatre Project
October - March
Join us for our 6th year of making magic ! Kesem (“ Magic ” in Hebrew ) is exactly what occurs when actors , both with and without needs , go through this theatrical process together . A theatre education initiative for adults ages 18 and up , Kesem provides a comprehensive theatre education experience from process to performance . Participants will meet weekly to create a performance shaped around their unique abilities and interests . Weekly meetings will be a combination of virtual and in-person and we will culminate the season with a theatrical performance open to the community .
