Players will meet on Tuesday evenings from 6pm-7:30pm for practice,
where they will focus on building game play fundamentals such as cradling,
scooping, passing, and catching. April practices will be indoor on the
Ackerman Turf and May-June practices will be at Newton Park. House
League games will be held on Saturday mornings at Ackerman or Newton
Parks. A game schedule will be emailed to participants by April 7. $75 fee
for cancellations after January 31, no refunds after March 31. Equipment:
Stick, helmet, shoulder pads, arm pads, gloves, and mouth guard required
by the first day of practice. (ch)

Players will participate in 90-minute practices at Newton Park on Tuesday
and Thursdays, in approximately 10 league games through the Illinois Boys
Lacrosse Association, and in a single-elimination tournament in early June.
Team game schedules and locations are posted on the IBLA website in late
March (home games played at Newton Park, away games at neighboring
towns). Optional travel tournaments will be offered (additional fees apply).
$75 fee for cancellations after January 31, no refunds after March 31.

This program introduces and develops basic skills for our youngest
players using fun games and coaching techniques. Practices are 30
min. of skills and 30 min. of scrimmage games. Equipment provided.

PINK AND PURPLE LEVELS: 1ST-8TH GRADES
Pink teams (beginner) master the fundamentals of lacrosse.
Practices are one day per week for 1 hour with games played on
Sundays. Purple teams (advanced) practice two day per week for
1.25 hours with games played on Sundays. New players interested
in the Purple level must register for and attend a Skills Assessment
in January/February and will receive notification of their placement
before registering. No assessment required for previous Purple
players. Equipment: Stick, goggles, and a mouthguard are required.
