ALL AGES JUST FOR KIDS Moonlit Hike FREE! Preschool Nature Outings Age: All
Bundle up and join us for a moonlit walk in nature. We will listen and search
for nocturnal animals, look for tracks, and talk about the ways plants and
animals adapt to winter conditions. Sip hot cocoa after our adventure.

Join us for one or all these outings. Each program will begin indoors with
a story and craft, then the last 15-20 minutes we will bundle up for an

organizations to learn about a variety of environmental initiatives. Stop and
shop with local sustainable vendors. Go on a guided walk, purchase a rain
barrel, let the kid’s wander through earthy activity stations, or rent a canoe

Winter Wildlife Tracking
At Churchill Park
Age: 5-12
Finding animal tracks in the snow can reveal untold stories of animal
adventures. Learn the prints and patterns of our common neighborhood
mammals. If there is snow, we will spend time looking for tracks. If there is
no snow, the focus will be searching for other animal evidence like nests,
dens, hollow trees, chewed vegetation, and other signs. Instructor: Renae
