Age: 6-10 Participants will be taught the fundamentals of football on the offensive and defensive sides of the ball and will go through a variety of drills, games and contests to develop their skill set. Teams will practice once per week at area schools (August practices will be outdoors), cheer at weekly Saturday football games, and participate in an end-of-season Cheer Showcase alongside the Golden Eagles competition teams to show friends and family what they have learned. The program focuses on teaching an introduction to competitive cheer including motions, jumps, and basic stunting. Squads will be formed by school and lead by volunteer coaches. Fee includes t-shirt, skirt, bow and poms. Warm-ups can be purchased at the time of uniform fitting for an additional charge. Yoga games teach cooperative play and refine listening skills which are essential for success in school. Little yogis learn best through social interaction, repetition and play.
