Frosty 3v3 Soccer Tournament Lakers Soccer Academy

Age: 7-15
Join us for the 6th Annual Frosty 3v3 soccer tournament. Games will
be played outdoors - rain, snow, or shine. Teams are comprised of
3-6 players. Age groups may be combined depending on how many
teams are registered. Individual registrations will be placed on age-
appropriate teams if space allows. (bt) Grade: 1-2
Lakers Academy is a program designed to enhance your child’s
recreational soccer experience. This program is for children who love
soccer, want to play at a higher level, but are not ready to commit
to the rigors of our Glen Ellyn Park District Lakers Futbol Club.
Participation in both the Glen Ellyn Recreational League and Lakers
Academy is encouraged. Training and games will be run by our Future
Pros travel soccer trainers. Uniform kits are also required and must
be purchased separately. Please contact [email protected] once
registration is complete for uniform ordering information. NOTE: Each
player is required to bring their own soccer ball, shoes, shin guards,

Weekly clinics focus on building individual and team soccer skills.
Instruction, drills, and games will focus on dribbling, passing, shooting,
defending, and offensive attacking skills. The clinics will be run by
Future Pros professional trainers. Groups will be divided for skill-level-
appropriate training each week. Equipment: Each player is required
to bring their own ball, shoes, shin guards, and water for each class.

COACHES TRAINING
Positive Coaching Alliance Training
Winter House Soccer League
Held at Spring Avenue Recreation Center

This is a great opportunity for boys and girls to keep their soccer skills
fresh during winter. Each week, players will work on a particular skill
and then scrimmage at the end of class. This league is instructed by
Future Pros trainers, the same trainers used by the Glen Ellyn Lakers
travel teams. Equipment: Each player is required to bring their own
ball, shoes, shin guards, and water for each class. Instructor: Future
Pros. Min/Max: 10/40. (bt)
In partnership with Positive Coaching Alliance, the Glen Ellyn Park
District is offering five workshops for coaches throughout the year.
This is a district-wide program that all coaches are expected to
complete once every two years regardless of the number of sports
coached. It is an interactive workshop format led by Positive Coaching
Alliance instructors. For those coaches that completed the workshop
in 2018, they will not need to attend again until 2020.
