After School Programming Offers a Fun and Safe
Environment for Martin County Youth
Summer is just getting
started but parents are
already thinking about
sending their kids back to
school! With that comes
the task of finding affordable, established, wellmanaged after care. The
Martin County Parks &
Recreation
Department
and the Children’s Services Council of Martin
County have a partnership that has produced
five outstanding after
school programs. Funding
the programs, including
the countywide teen program, comes directly from
the Children’s Services
Council of Martin County.
Programs are open on
regular school days from
2:00pm to 6:00pm, early
release days 12:00pm to
6:00pm and non-school
days 7:30am to 6:00pm
(not including County
holidays).

clubs, 4H, educational soccer, art and much more! The
kids never get bored!
To qualify for after school
care, interested parents must
complete
an
application
which includes information on
financial need for services.
Applications may be obtained
from the after school site of
interest.
