YOUTH AND TEEN Summertime Pajama Spa Night Babysitting for Success Age: 5-11 Come in your PJs for a fun and relaxing night at the spa! Glitzy Girlz staff will polish toes and nails in summer colors and teach you how to perform manicures and pedicures at home. You'll walk out the door fresh-faced from our fruity banana/avocado facial mask, which we'll make and use in class. Everyone will go home with a spa goody bag filled with polish, lotion, a foot/nail brush, lotion and more! Come prepared to learn some pampering tricks to keep nails and toes on point! Min/Max: 5/30. (ts) Age: 10 & Up Students engage in discussion, role playing and practical experiences to learn diapering, feeding, playing with children, child development, handling emergencies and first aid. The workshop also includes Sweet P.'s signature dot nail painting, and girl/doll braids with beads and matching hair accessories. Teaches knot tying, rope management, understanding equipment used and basic climbing commands followed by fun rock wall games and activities. At Ackerman SFC Age: 10-15 This hands-on course teaches young adults the skills they need to safely and responsibly care for children. This camp will cover babysitting techniques such as changing diapers, feeding babies, making playtime fun with age-appropriate games, and will also include safety skills such as basic CPR. Participants will have the opportunity to work with babies and young children in our childcare or by assisting with our toddler athletic classes.
