Kids Cooking Network Camp
Horse Camp for Kids!
At Dunham Woods Farm (9N755 Nesler Road, Elgin)
Age: 8-14
Campers will learn the basics of riding at the walk and trot, how to groom,
tack, and handle horses, and tons of cool information about breeds, colors,
markings of horses and more! Games and other activities will be done
as well. Riders should wear jeans or Jodhpur pants and hard soled riding
or hiking boots with a small, low heel. Bring an approved riding helmet
or bicycle helmet and a sack lunch! Juice boxes or bottled water will be

will cook and gobble up tasty, healthy cuisine from South America, Europe,

Basic Training Baking Boot Camp

Young chefs will work together in cooking challenges inspired by favorite
cooking TV shows such as Master Chef Jr, Kids Baking Championship,
Chopped Jr, and Cutthroat Kitchen! We will learn how to use different
cooking equipment and techniques, explore flavor pairings, and create tasty

can taste, while practicing basic cooking skills and techniques on their way to

Safety Village
At Spring Avenue Recreation Center
Age: 4-7
Learn rules for personal, pedestrian, home and play safety. Children are also
introduced to stranger-danger. Children will practice safe riding and street
safety in our outdoor learning area. Please bring a water bottle and bike
