Dance Academy Mini Camp Sew Simple: Beginner Sewing Camp
Age: 3 & Up
If you love to dance, this is the camp for you! Participants will experience a
week full of dance activities, including arts and crafts, group games, story
time, and basic dance technique. No dance experience is necessary to join
this camp. We ask that dancers wear clothes they can dance in and dance
shoes. Each day, campers should bring a water bottle and snack. The last
day of camp, our dancers will show off their new moves for friends and

Learn to operate a sewing machine and the practical art of sewing as you
make your own unique items that you can use again and again. We will be
making at least 3 different usable items. Shop and choose your own fabric
and see the online class description for the type and amount of fabric you’ll
need. All other supplies will be provided. Sign up with a friend or come and
meet new friends. Bring your own sewing machine and user manual or use

Glen Ellyn Rising Stars Theatre Camp

Age: 6-15
Step into the spotlight with a camp that combines an introduction to
theatre with a variety of activities! Campers will be experiencing the
true art of theatre through acting, singing, choreography, blocking,
improvisation, audition preparation, and more! Our rising stars will put
together a final mini, musical production for family and friends to finish
off the week. Campers will need to bring a lunch and water bottle. All
campers will receive a t-shirt! Min/Max: 18/30. (ts)

Sew Simple: Advanced Sewing Camp

Continue to learn the practical art of sewing. For the student that already
has a sewing machine foundation that wants to progress and learn more
and move to the next step. You will make wearable items and use a pattern.
See the online class description for the amount of fabric needed. Bring
your own sewing machine or use on of ours. Instructor: Mary Anne Aubrey.

Beginner Creative Sewing Camp

Multimedia Masterpieces
At Main Street Recreation Center
Age: 6-12
Explore acrylic painting, sculpture, watercolor and more. Children will
paint several pre-drawn images on canvas board and watercolor paper,
boosting confidence and motivation. This summer’s theme, “ANIMALS”
will feature all things relating to animals and the wild! Students should
bring a full roll of paper towels and a snack; all other supplies are provided.
Wear old clothes and good shoes. Instructor: Tony & Friends Art Studio.
