Ackerman 10-Year BBQ Celebration Freedom Four™ 4-Mile Run
We're hosting a BBQ to celebrate 10 years of Ackerman Sports & Fitness
Center serving our community! There will be free food, group fitness
classes, and youth sampler classes, and the facility will be open to the
public for complimentary tours. Plus, enjoy a bounce house, DJ, climbing
the indoor rock wall, and many other sports, games, and activities. This is
an indoor/outdoor event and will run rain or shine. All ages welcome. (sl) Age: 5 & Up
Run for recreation! The Freedom Four™ will kick off at 7:30am "sharp"
on Saturday, July 4, at Lake Ellyn Park. A portion of the proceeds from
the event help support the Friends of Glen Ellyn Parks' Scholarship Fund,
which allows families in our community experiencing economic hardship
to attain no and/or reduced cost recreation and athletic programs. Awards
are presented to the top two male and female finishers in each age division
at around 8:30am. A Freedom Four™ t-shirt if guaranteed to every early
bird registrant. Participants registering after early bird registration receive
t-shirts while supplies last.

Monday Miles Running Series FREE!
Mondays • June 1-August 3 • 6:30pm-8pm • Newton Park
Grab your running shoes and get moving! Over the course of 9 nights
we will log miles on our course at Newton Park and enjoy two fun theme
nights along the way, an ice cream social on July 13 and a raffle run on
August 3. Attend 7 of the 9 weeks and earn a Monday Miles t-shirt! Please
note, Monday Miles will not be offered on Monday, June 29. All ages
welcome. In case of inclement weather, Monday Miles will be canceled.

Ackerman Olympics
Friday, July 24th through Sunday, August 9th
Celebrate the Summer 2020 Olympics at Ackerman SFC with daily
Olympic-themed challenges and events. Members will receive a log to
track their participation for a chance to win daily prizes or an overall grand
prize. Non-members can sign up for a $15 Olympic membership valid
July 24th through August 9th.

not be accepted at any Park District office.
RACE ENTRY FEES
Early Bird Fee (Now-June 28): $25 per person
Regular Registration Fee (June 29-July 4): $30 per person
There will be no refund of race entry fees.
PACKET PICK-UP: Early Bird registered participants can pick up their race
packets at Ackerman Sports & Fitness Center on Monday, June 29, from
3pm-8:30pm. Day-of-race registration and packet pick up begins at 6am
and ends at 7:30am at Lake Ellyn Park.
