Nature Camp: Preschool Wildlife Camp

Age: 3-4
This camp is for young outdoor enthusiasts! We’ll explore the park to
look for interesting plants and animals, hike the trails, and search the
pond shorelines for aquatic life. Stories, simple crafts, and games will
be used to explain basic nature concepts. Campers must be able to use
the toilet unassisted (toilet is rented/portable type). Children should not
be in diapers or pull-ups. Min/Max: 8/12. (rf) Grade: 2-3
Is your child a budding zoologist? Each day we will focus on a different
group of animals: Mammals, Birds, Invertebrates, Reptiles/Amphibians,
and a Habitat Helpers day. Unique behaviors and adaptations among
species will be emphasized as we search for wildlife and complete a

Nature Camp: K-1 Grade

This hands-on program will take campers through the fields, woods
and wet areas in search of insects, reptiles, birds, mammals, and the
plants these animals need. We will introduce basic ecological concepts
while exploring the park’s habitats. Stories, activities, crafts and games
support the various topics. Min/Max: 8/12 or 8/24. (rf)
Outdoor Game Camp
Held at Churchill Park
Grade: 2-3
We are deviating from traditional nature camp to offer a session
devoted to just outdoor play! Group games, scavenger hunts, and
“trail rally” challenges will be incorporated into this action-packed time
outdoors. Campers will run through the grass, explore the park on and
off trail, and enjoy occasional “down time” with board games at the
picnic tables. Min/Max: 8/24. (rf)

Each day, campers will use different media to express artistic natural
themes. Different tools & techniques will be used throughout the week
to create unique and original masterpieces. A variety of nature topics
will be covered to add to the learning element. Have your child wear
