Age: All. Fall is a wonderful time to visit Lake Ellyn
Park! Enjoy live entertainment with Jeanie B! and
the Jelly Beans, activities and games throughout the
park, a pumpkin carving demonstration, trackless
train rides, bounce houses, free canoe rides, and of
course, we’ll end the evening with our lit Pumpkin
Flotilla on the lake at dusk! Food and beverages,
provided by the Rotary Club of Glen Ellyn, will be
available for purchase in the Boathouse. If you
would like to submit your carved pumpkin to be part
of the Flotilla, please register online (see below).
You can even carve a pumpkin at the event for $5,
while supplies last. When you’re finished, enter your
creation in the Flotilla, or take it home to keep. (jr)
PUMPKIN FLOTILLA GUIDELINES
Bring a pumpkin that weighs about 8 lbs. after it’s
gutted and carved (about the size of a soccer ball).
All pumpkins must have the tops. Mini, extra-large,
or pumpkins with any artificial embellishments (paint,
glitter, glue, marker, etc.) cannot participate in the
Flotilla. A light and a floating device will be provided
at check-in. Drop your pumpkin off at the check-
in area by the boat launch by 5:30pm. Please note:
pumpkins will not be returned. Max: 75 pumpkins.

Age: 3-10 & Mom. Come have a special night with your
favorite little guy! Dress to impress and dance the night
away to music played by the DJ. Complimentary photo
booths and an ice cream sundae bar are included.
If a mom cannot attend, another family member is
welcome to come. Moms with more than one son are
encouraged to bring them all. Min/Max: 75/300. (jm)

Turkey Trot 5-Mile
Predicto Race
Thursday, November 28 • 8am Start
Held at Lake Ellyn Park
Start your Thanksgiving at the annual Turkey Trot
Predicto Race! It’s open to all ages and skill levels, so
you don’t have to cross the finish line first to win. The
top two runners who most accurately predict their finish
time will win a Thanksgiving treat. Prizes will also be
awarded for Best Costume. Advance registration is not
required, but a waiver must be signed prior to the event
to qualify. No timing devices are allowed on the course.
Help us make someone else’s holiday a happy one
and support the Glen Ellyn Food Pantry by bringing a
non-perishable food item to the race! (ch)
