Join a certified Forest Therapy Guide at Churchill Park and learn how to immerse yourself in natural settings through mindful actions and observations, gain insights about local ecology, and better understand the physical and mental benefits of this growing practice. The experience ends with a tea ceremony and reflection. Min/Max: 3/20. (rf) Native Tree & Shrub Sale Looking to add a tree or shrub to your yard? Consider a native species that requires less maintenance, is adapted to our regional climate, and supports wildlife. The Park District, The Conservation Foundation, and the Glen Ellyn Environmental Commission are partnering to offer this opportunity. Plants come in a five-gallon sized container and should be able to fit in most standard vehicles for transporting home.
