Next, the class will transform into scientists to conduct several candy experiments to gain a deeper understanding of these nostalgic sweets. Lessons incorporate principles of physics described in a way children will understand, such as “g-force” inertia and momentum, as well as math concepts. In this class, students will be introduced to programming by creating and editing sprites and game opponents. They will learn about sound and video as they “level up” through the building of their own game.
