2019-2020 Post Preschool Playtime
Held at Main Street Recreation Center – Room 114
Age: 3-5
In need of a little extra time for your preschooler after school? Sign up
for Post Preschool Playtime! Supplement your child’s Preschool day
with a little extra playtime to explore and expand their imaginations.
We’ll spend time on the playground, in the gym, have free time in the
classroom and create projects that will encourage them to discover
their inner artist. This program is for children 3-5 years old following
the PM classes and Preschool Plus at MSRC; teachers will transition
students from Preschool to the Playtime classroom at the end of their
regularly scheduled class. Afternoon snacks and supplies provided. [JR]
Program will begin with the 2019-2020 school year. Advance
registration will be required one month prior to use; you may register
by the day(s) needed. Please contact Jeannie Robinson at (630) 942-
7267 for registration information.

Kindergarten Enrichment
Age: 5-6 (Must be born by September 1, 2014 and enrolled in Kindergarten)
The Glen Ellyn Park District offers a quality enrichment experience for Kindergarten-age
children attending half-day Kindergarten. This popular program is designed to enrich and
enhance the regular district Kindergarten program in the areas of motor skills, language arts,
music, and creative arts. The goal is to allow each child to mature academically and socially in
a creative, encouraging, and challenging learning environment.
Classes offer a balance of both structured and unstructured activities. Activity areas to choose
from include blocks, quiet time, dramatic play, small and large motor activities as well as areas
for music, art, literacy and science/discovery. Children must turn five by September 1, 2019 in
order to register for this class. We will provide a space for kids to eat lunch after (AM) or prior
(PM) to KE. Please send a sack lunch if you plan to have your child eat lunch at KE. (jr)
