A rematch of last season’s Grand Final is the highlight of the weekend fixtures, with Wigan hoping to assert their dominance over their close rivals.

Many people’s pre-season favourites to defend their title, Warriors have been hit and miss so far with seven wins, a draw and five losses leaving them three points outside the top four places.

Things could be worse, Warrington currently sit outside the Super 8 places having won just five of their opening 13 games.

This one has “must-win” written all over it for both sides for very differing reasons.

Shaun Wane’s men have won the last three encounters, including the 12-6 Old Trafford victory back in October and are favourites to make it four on the bounce.

The DW Stadium outfit are also the most successful outfit in Magic Weekend history, winning seven and only losing two of their ten games.

In fact, Warriors haven’t lost a game on this particular weekend of rugby since 2008. Quite the record!

Warrington’s record of six wins and four defeats is respectable but have lost their last two Magic Weekend games against St Helens and Castleford.

One defeat in their last seven does see the Wolves head into this clash in a rich vein of form.

Can they get revenge for last season's Grand Final?
