An interview with Arek Szmajda
What was your inspiration for the film?
The idea for the film I took virtually out of nowhere. Like all my ideas, it was a simple one, fast to record form embellished with a specific sense of humor.
What was the role of the film?
The film did not aim at ridiculing Europe. It was to show the real political situation and political system which has led to the situation presented in the film.
Do you think that people understand the irony shown in your film?
There are people who understand the included irony and redraw but there are some others who need more time for that.
