My great week in Spain
It was an amazing opportunity for me to go to Spain! I'm very glad to be in the project! Even if Spain is not very far from France it was kind of a discovery every day!
For example in the moring Spanish students start school at 8.25 am, then finish at 2 pm and have a break of 2 hours. Then the Spanish eat late (convenient for me), around 2 pm and a lot of peole eat at any time of the day (and I took a little bit of the habit). Food is not so different but of course there are specialities that I tried! For example little green salty chili, Pimientos de padrĂ³n and I really like them. The thing I also loved is Napolitanas, bread with chocolate. I think I ate one every day.
Something that is also different is the sunset hour. It left a mark on me for, because of that we can do more things in a day. For example we were outside until 8 pm, so days were weary. Things I really loved were the landscapes! The places I saw were amazing. For example when we arrived, during the ride between Santiago and Fene, I saw beautiful landscapes. The mix between the sea and the forest is amazing.
How can I speak about Spain without speaking of the project and cinema! We learned a lot of things about cinema. For example we saw a famous Spanish TV show (Serramoura). We visited film sets, backstages, the make-up room, the editing room and the grooming room, that particularly impressed me because there were som mnay clothes of all colors ans so many props! And we had the opportunity to see famous actors playing and the team shooting! We've seen that actors play a scene again and again! For example they played the scene we saw at least five times. It was great to see what is behind a movie or a TV show.
Then for the shooting day at school, we were lucky to have a famous Spanish actor and a specialist of horror make-up, to help us in the making of our horror movie. So they taught us how to make fake bruises and cuts with blood. Then we shot our short movie with zombies and scared students.
And we also showed our movies made in France and voted for the best movie of each country. And on the last day we were in a theater and two spanish students presented the ceremony, teachers and other personnalities announced the winners. It was a lot of fun to see our movies on a big screen!
That week brought me many positive things and I thank Europe for that.
