Anoka-Hennepin completed water quality testing in March 2018 and identified 79 of 1,981 locations that were either replaced or removed from service. Anoka-Hennepin has conducted an extensive water testing and mitigation program since the 1990’s. The plan was approved by the School Board on an unanimous vote. Elementary and Secondary Education Naming of New Elementary Schools Dr. Mary Wolverton, associate superintendent for elementary schools, led a presentation regarding the naming of new elementary schools under construction in Blaine and Ramsey. A community driven process included over 360 name suggestions, which were reviewed and prioritized by committees for each school. Names were approved on separate motions, with both names gaining approval on a unanimous vote.
