Recognitions
Destination Imagination (DI) Regional Director Lynn Montgomery presented students and team managers that
competed at DI Global Finals held in Kansas City, Mo in May. Student in DI work together in teams to create a solution
to one of six competitive challenges: technical, scientific, fine arts, improvisational, engineering and service learning,
Participating students are from each level, elementary, middle and high school. Madison Elementary School: Cam
Gorka, Jack Zellmer, Gracie Lushine, Elie Delliger, Alena Westlund, Katie Coon, Brady Pierpont, with team manager
Joleen Lundin. Eisenhower Elementary School: Weston Finco, Jayson Duax, Milan Bellefeuille, Maddy Fournier, Garrett
Bower, Regan Quilling, and team manager Janae Bower. Rum River Elementary School: Kiera Delaney, Jack Nelson,
Reyez Rodriquez, Emily Sahlberg, Lauran Buchman, Anne Jendro, Molly Mayer, and team managers Krista Wyvell-Fink
and Julie Waldock. Roosevelt Middle: Jenna Ballanger, Julia Gunderson, Hollyn Shaughnessy, Avery Soli, and team

Communications, delegations and petitions
The School Board did not receive testimony.
Employee services
The School Board took actions regarding employees and positions in the district in relation to a reporting timeline
needed to comply with contracts and state requirements. Sarah Kriewall, director of employee services, presented items
for approval and one item for information only. Resolutions were approved with a unanimous vote.
Resolution discontinuing and reducing educational programs and positions
The School Board approved the resolution the resolution in compliance with Minnesota Statute 122A.40, sub. 5. The
action is considered a routine matter conducted annually by the board.
