National School Public Relations Association award
The National School Public Relations Association- or NSPRA- recognizes excellence in schools across the nation who deliver quality communications programs through an awards program. Anoka-Hennepin collected an award of excellence in the video category and an award of merit for print publications.
Minnesota Scholastic Arts Awards
The Minnesota Scholastic Art Awards recognize and celebrate the vision, ingenuity and talent of youth artists. Judges selected Gold Key, Silver Key and honorable mention award winning art pieces from a record 4,300 entries in 13 categories. Gold Key winners are automatically entered in the National Scholastic Art Award competition in New York.
Anoka Middle School for the Arts: Gold Key, Alexandria Julkowski, Alexandria Walberg, Olivia Rowe and Zora Swanson; Silver Key, Olivia Rowe.
Roosevelt Middle School: Gold Key, Augus Eggerud, Tea Lockwood, Stella Olson, Cora Helcl, Jillian Saulsbury, Melissa Pham, Onyx Yang, Aden Juntunen, Hannah Meehan, Daoder Lee, Lydia Erie, Nate Killian; Silver Key, Meli Lee, Jaden Wittner-Olson, Samantha Zietler and Tea Lockwood.

Champlin Park High School marching band
Steve Johnson, band director, presented members of the Champlin Park Marching Rebels for recognition. The band collected numerous awards participating in events surrounding the Liberty Bowl in Memphis, Tenn., in December.
Communications, delegations and petitions
