Weather related district 2018-19 calendar adjustment
After reviewing numerous options, the Anoka-Hennepin School Board approved a recommendation to add a school day on
Thursday, March 7, 2019. The action follows the cancellation of six days this school year due to extreme cold and snowy
winter weather conditions that caused concern with safety of students. This action was taken to remedy lost time for
secondary students in the same trimester where it was lost and to address time required for elementary students.
