Communications , delegations and petitions
The School Board received testimony from Steve Lyons , Dennis Sieben , Joshua Ciccone , Jennifer Haack and Pam Riddle .
Employee services
The School Board took actions regarding employees and positions in the district in relation to a reporting timeline needed to comply with contracts and state requirements . Sarah Kriewall , director of employee services , presented two items for approval and one item for information only .
Resolution discontinuing and reducing educational programs and positions
The resolution eliminates teacher full-time equivalent positions due to staffing efficiencies , student registrations and undetermined federal funding . Approved on a 4-1 vote , Harvey voted no .
Resolution relating to the termination and non-renewal of teaching contracts of probationary teachers
The School Board approved the resolution in compliance with Minnesota Statute 122A . 40 , sub . 5 . The action is considered a routine matter conducted annually by the board . Approved on a 5-0 vote .
For information only : long term substitute teachers , intern teachers , re-employed retired teachers
Sarah Kriewall , director of employee services , providing information regarding employees retained for School Board review . No School Board action is required .
Labor relations and benefits
2022-23 district calendar , first reading
Todd Mensink , director of labor relations and benefits , presented a draft of the 2022-23 school calendar for School Board review . The draft was formed by the district ’ s calendar committee , a representative group of employees who consider optimal learning days , contractual obligations , historical data and other considerations to form a recommendation . The School Board is expected to consider approval at an upcoming meeting .
General counsel
Resolution to approve discharge of continuing contract teachers
Katie Bergstrom , associate general counsel , presented a resolution to discharge continuing contract teachers , which was approved on a 5-0 vote by the School Board .

2021 community survey
The Anoka-Hennepin School Board values community feedback and uses data from scientific community surveys to 1
