ACTION! Issue 2 | Page 11

This movie by Bart Mastronardi is about a nurse who decides to kill the old lady she takes care of because she has a punctured eye and she is ugly. After killing her, the police arrive and she becomes completely crazy because she can hear the heart of the murdered woman and she finally confesses the crime.

In the beginning of the story we are made to understand she is already mad as the film begins in a psychiatric facility where she is a patient. She starts telling about her story to the others.

I really like the fact that Bart Mastronardi turned the male characters into female ones because it is someting new and well toughout out. I agree with the directors when he says "it gives a chance to female actresses to play in an adaptation of Poe's short story".

As to the sound track, it is really good with the sad and scary music which adds a lot of suspense to this quite gory movie.

Definitely a must see!
