Hi,
Welcome to the second issue of the new AFR Magazine.
The second part of the Survivors Guide to Collecting
Action Figures takes a look at how to predict what will be
collectible in the future, and although there is no 100%
sure way there are ways to make a good educated and
informed guess.
This month also sees the return of the Captain Toys
Reviews section as well as a new Fans Selection section
and The Mego Archive which will take a look at many of
the lesser known Mego action figures, as well as their
innovations, point of sales material and catalogs etc.
In the Fans Section will take a look at various fans collections, their favorite figures, how they got started etc. The
first of these is from Mark Ryan who’ll be giving us a more
in-depth look at his collection each week.
If you want to be featured in the Fans Selection just drop
me line, its always great to hear from other collectors and
hear about what they have, their favorite items and how
they came about them.
I have decided to split the Top Ten eBay auctions into two
listings again this week, and for the foreseeable future, as
Star War figures seem to be dominating them again.
This month sees the continuation of the Jurassic Park and
Star Wars features also, as well as a one-off on the Mattel
Killer Tomato figures released in 1993.
