By the time you receive this December
will be drawing to an end as will
another year. As I get older the years
seem to pass quicker and those often
forgotten put off or neglected task
become more and more important.
It’s been 12 years now since I packed
my bags moved to Thailand to start on
a new adventure, and looking back it
has been quite some journey but I have
no regrets!
And the past year has been no
different with some major, and minor,
challenges but I look forward to the
New Year with renewed energy and
confidence to meet to challenges to
come.
I have lots of plans for this publication
and the AFR site as a whole, incluing
a new membership site, a new
interactive publication, a members
discount card, forums and more, so I
hope you’ll join me on the adventures
and help steer me right when I go
wrong!
As for this month’s issue there are
three more guides. The first of these is
a guide to Beetlejuice figures. This is
one of my favourite movies, particular
the character played by Wimona Rider
of morbid, depressing, goth teenager
Lydia, and with the recent news of
a sequel being filmed I thought the
time was ripe to take a look at this
remarkable if uneventful line.
The second short guide takes a look
at the Mego line of Disney’s The Black
Hole figures, which both Disney and
Mego had high hopes for, but alas were
not to be met.
The third guide is the first of an
ongoing series of articles taking an indepth look at the huge catalog of Toy
Biz Spider-Man action figures. This first
article takes a look at The Animated
Spider-Man line from Series 1 through
to Series 7.
Other articles this month take a look
at the Top 10 Batman Villains as well
as the regular features on the Top eBay
Auctions and Captain Toys Reviews.
