Action Figure Resource Magazine April 2015 | Page 3

Hi, march 2015 I hope you had a good month and that all is well. This month has been another busy one for me. First of one of my dogs had a litter of 8 puppies, so for the time being (until we can find good homes for them) I have 9 dogs and 5 cats, a rather large (and expensive) household! The puppies will be eating me out of house and home if I don’t find them homes soon! We’ll be keeping at least two of them for ourselves, a white one (called Pee, that is thai for ghost) and the runt of the litter. On top of that we’ve had our “home” rewired and re-roofed, but I’m glad to say that that is almost finished. Today is the last day of term at school so the kids will be having classroom parties and tomorrow is an important monk day so it is a national holiday. This month you’ll notice that I’ve dropped the 3D-Printing, Customizing and Urban Vinyl sections. This is simply because I want to concentrate more of articles referring to some of the older vintage collections. Also I’ve thinned out the news section to any new press releases, licenses or any other major news items. However, for news on all the latest releases you can sign-up for my weekly update, on the other hand my Twitter feed will be for more important, time sensitive news, one-off news items, such as spot sales and breaking news etc. and lastly my Facebook pages will be for more in-depth items, articles and discussions. As well as that I will be launching a series of Collectors guide Apps in the Apple App store and Google Play. These apps will include articles, checklists and videos covering a Colin Action Figure Resource plethora of lines including Star Wars, GI Joe, Transformers, Terminator, The Avengers, The Fantastic Four, NFL Football, Starting Lineup, Batman, TMNT, MOTU and many more. Each app will take a detailed look at each line released, the figures, the accessories, play-sets, variant and chase figures as well Hopefully this should stop my duplicating as the rarest. There will also be interactive posts and at the same time keep you well checklists. informed on what’s happening. All in all this year should be an exciting year, Next month I hope to launch the new with loads of great movies and product member’s only site, complete with a database coming. Some of the highlight I’m looking of more than 10,000 action figures covering forward to are: virtually every line that has been produced between 1964-2010, videos, guides and As always, let me know what you think and tutorials.
