The American Competitive Trail Horse Association (ACTHA) has a simple mission based on the fundamental belief that a horse with a job is a horse with a home, security and a future.
The association is among the largest holders of equine events in USA, and growing in Canada. On pace for more than 1,000 events and 45,000 entries annually.

Our members, hosts, volunteers and donors form a powerful force supporting the cause of full equine employment.
20% of ACTHA's share of every member rider entry fee is donated to equine charities across the US and Canada, and selected by each Ride Host.
28,385 horses are currently registered with ACTHA. Among them are 1,432 rescue horses, of which over 400 have already won medals!
100,000 more horses across North America remain homeless, in rescues or worse. The choice to help is easy.
