sound training programs. In 2008, three girls scouts earned their Gold Award for a moving DVD on soring called “See it Through My Eyes.” FOSH helped provide information for the video’s creation and later supplied funds to have it reproduced and sent to girl scout troops in states most known for soring. FOSH not only supports gaited horses, but all horses and riders. FOSH shares and understands the need for support and education for all breeds. FOSH offers education into the proper training and treatment of horses. We look forward to a future of fun and education by helping horse owners and lovers be the best they can be through an awareness of what is best for their horse; emotionally, mentally and physically.

ACTHA's mission to support rescue facilities and equine non-profit organizations burns stronger than ever. 20% of ACTHA's share of every member rider entry fee is donated to equine charities across the US and Canada, and selected by each Ride Host. The decision to ride or host with ACTHA helps fund such organizations across the USA. Looking for an organization to benefit at your next ride? Consider FOSH for your next ride. ACTHA is very pleased to have embarked upon a partnership with Friends of Sound Horses, aka FOSH. We share the same committment to the health and well being of the horse. FOSH brings to ACTHA a wealth of knowledge for our riders whose horse of choice happens to be among the many gaited breeds. Watch for upcoming educational articles by FOSH to be featured in the ACTHA Monthly, on our website and social media.
