We say it all the time. We say it in our sleep. We often forego sleep to forward the cause. This mission has been a struggle heaped with challenges over the years. But we will not give up. In fact, we are determined to race ahead stronger than ever for the cause. Because we believe in it. It is our passion. A passion we share with more than 20 thousand trail riders, 28 thousand ACTHA registered trail horses, and uncountable ride hosts, volunteers and judges, sponsors and partners who believe in us, and help fight for our cause. Together, we are more than a team, we are a movement for change! Where would those 28 thousand horses be if we had given up at the first sign of a challenge? Some would be fine, others would not. And it's for them that we continue the fight, and for so many others we just haven't met yet.
We cannot rest while there are 100's of thousands of horses homeless, in rescues or worse across our nation.
ACTHA is among the largest holders of equine events in the USA. 1,432 of our registered horses are rescue horses. Let's get more out of rescues, and on the trail.
