"I heard about ACTHA and found all I could online, then decided to try out a ride closest to me. However, your event at Falconwood sounded too good to miss so I jumped ahead and signed up to ride as Buddy. You talked/persuaded/lured me into not only going up to Scout but up to Pleasure and add not only the AOC but also the 2nd day CTC. Truth is, I fell head over hoofs in love with ACTHA that day. You helped make it all very special. Can't thank you enough. Not only did I get my confidence back and start enjoying riding my horses again, but have made great friendships with so many other like minded, crazy, wonderful folks. Thanks!" -BRENDA FAYARD

RIDE HOST ACCOLADES

The Ride Host; the backbone of the American Competitive Trail Horse Association. They are the planners, the organizers, the cheerleaders. Promoters of equine activities, family fun, friendly revelry, great eats and cozy campfires. Hoarders of ribbons, prizes and crazy contraptions to build creative obstacles with, because they are always planning 'that next ride'. Around each Ride Host are circles of friends who may never have met without them. They may forget a name, but they won't forget your horse. Or the smile on your face when they met you for the first time.

Let's hear from our members, whose lives have been forever impacted by an ACTHA Ride Host:
