My name is Morgan Baber and I’m eight years old. I had to wait till I was 7 to be able to ride in ACTHA and my first ride was kind of scary. When I started to go to the first obstacle I was really nervous, but my Papa said he wanted me to just try and do my best. I rode Banner up to the pedestal and he put his front feet up on it and then I backed him off, he did great! It made me feel so good! Everybody encouraged me and that helped me to keep going and then it was fun.
Banner is a great horse. He follows me wherever I go because he loves me. He was my Grandma’s horse but she was in an accident and couldn’t ride so she let me have Banner. I have fun braiding his mane and tail and dressing him up with pink ribbons.
One of my favorite parts about ACTHA is meeting new friends and playing. My Grandma and Papa even let me have sleepovers in our RV with my friends. Once I had three friends sleepover! I really love ACTHA!
