side, her daughter has joined the business as an event planner, primarily responsible for weddings, family reunions and gatherings. Variety of events is plentiful at Little Trails. Gaited horse clinician Gary Lane is scheduled for four clinics in 2015, June, July, September and October. They also host saddle clubs, extreme survival rides and are putting on their first cowboy social this year. As Stacy says “horse people need to meet other horse people and who knows maybe we will find a match for someone.”

Besides the miles of trails, amenities at Little Trails are plentiful. They offer cabins, electric sites and primitive sites for camping, a bath house, restrooms, a shelter house for gatherings, a kitchen that serves food on the weekends, covered stalls for your horse and a round pen. Like all ACTHA ride hosts Stacy doesn’t miss an opportunity to offer her guests

Little Trails Horse Camp was started by Debbie as a place for her and her friends to get together and ride. Over the years it has taken on a life of its own and turned into a place where everyone can come and ride, offering open riding when events are not planned. They are open to the public from April thru November for riding or hiking. Currently, there are 12 miles of trails with plans to add another 5 miles this year. Stacy realizes that in comparison to some forestry situations this doesn’t seem like a lot, but Little Trails Horse Camp has maintained a family feel and the service to make the difference. Trails are two horses wide so no one has to ride in the briars. Knowing visitors can call or walk to the office for assistance is a great asset and it’s one of the few places that take suggestions seriously and tries to implement them.
