Miss Molly’s Hotel Brothel A Spirited Past “I look at what’s hanging on the walls, feel hardwood from beneath my boots, and time permitting, hang around long enough to hear a story or two. Interesting stories and colorful pasts come with old structures given by the people inside of them, then and now.” I’ve heard stories of, about, and starring the Ft. Worth Stock Yards for as long as I can remember. A little strip of our towns history loveingl known to us here as Northside. I grew up just north of Northside in North Richland Hills, so I was never far. The Stockyards have always been an intriguing place to me from my first memories of the occasional sit down steak dinner with the extended family, to stories of my folks going to dance, and then my own when I would go to work down there in late 2003. I’ve always been drawn to old buildings and the warmth they provide, I love to walk through them, enquire as to the age and the causes they’ve served. I look at what’s hanging on the walls, feel hardwood beneath my boots, and time permitting hang around long enough to hear a story or two. Interesting histories and colorful pasts come with old structures given by the people inside of them, then and now. 24 | Acoustic Drive
