Academic Hematologist / Oncologist Opportunity in State College , PA
WHAT WE ’ RE OFFERING : CANCER CARE PARTNERSHIP , a joint venture of Mount Nittany Health and Penn State Hershey Cancer Institute , is seeking a full-time BC / BE Medical Oncologist to join its team . This unique position affords candidates an opportunity to practice community clinical oncology in conjunction with an academic appointment . The ideal candidate should have a strong interest and commitment to building a community-based practice and program . In addition , the candidate will have the opportunity to develop as a member of the cancer institute ’ s faculty . This includes participation in clinical research , teaching , and the development of an academic environment for an emerging regional healthcare campus .
WHAT WE ’ RE SEEKING :
• Medical degree - MD , DO , or foreign equivalent
• Completion of an accredited residency program
• Licensed for the practice of medicine in the State of Pennsylvania
• Board certification / eligibility in medical oncology
