ACHIEVEability HELPING HANDS: Heroes in action: C omm u ni t y a dviso r y commi t t e e The Community Advisory Committee (CAC) offers tremendous support to the Community Office. The CAC is an elected group of local West Philadelphia community residents who volunteer their time to help provide leadership and direction for the ACHIEVEability Community Office. These advisors are our “eyes and ears” in the local community. They bring concerns to the table that we, as a non-profit embedded in their community, could help address. You will find our Advisors at community meetings collecting information, building partnerships to enhance our programs, and sharing our resources. They also spearhead our quarterly Town Hall meetings and many other activities. Congratulations to the newly elected Community Advisory Committee. The elected advisors are: Angela Allen, Ruth Bazemore, Geraldine Brown, Kelita Buchanan, Bishop Christine Coleman-Crosby, Brenda Clark, Michella Crosby, Janice Duglas, Robert Ellis, Denise Green, Denise Johnson-Quick, Wanda Logan, Qiana Walker, Linda Watson, and James Wright. The elected advisors help to support the quarterly Town Hall Meetings while serving on various subcommittees.
