The state government of Puglia in southeastern Italy has
decided to strongly expand and encourage the production of
energy from renewable and regional sources.
The energy policy of the region has for this reason in recent
years turned significantly in favor of renewable energy and
energy efficiency.
A number of administrative tools innovative in character
have been implemented which meet the sustainable and
social criteria.
