Welcome to the American Water Works Association ’ s Annual Conference & Exposition !
I am thrilled to welcome you to the American Water Works Association ’ s 2022 Annual Conference and Exposition or ACE22 ! After two years without an in-person ACE , we are grateful and excited to be gathering face-to-face once more .
Like many of you , I ’ m eager to see familiar , friendly faces over the next few days . Attendees tell us year after year that the networking and collaboration that take place at our annual conference have a great influence on their professional lives , and the connections made during ACE are developed and fostered long after returning home .
So , we are excited to provide you with many gathering opportunities and special events throughout the conference — and especially on the bustling exhibit floor . There is simply no substitute for those conversations with trusted colleagues and new friends that lead to unexpected solutions back home .
ACE is the place to be to encounter new ideas , cutting-edge technologies , and groundbreaking solutions that will prepare the water community for the future . Innovative thinking will be on display at the ACE22 Innovation Hub ( Powered by Isle ) and throughout the professional program , during such tracks as Advances in Water Treatment ; Climate Resilience ; Intelligent Water Solutions ; and Managing Lead in Water . We ’ ll even be launching the Water 2050 initiative , which seeks to envision the future of water and chart a path for water community success .

As the conference theme suggests , you will emerge better positioned to inform , influence , and positively impact your community .
