Between aging infrastructure , water quality , drought , flood management , financial constraints , new technology , politics , and other issues , US water managers are constantly battling challenges . Did you know countries outside the United States also face similar problems ? In fact , many countries have dealt with and / or are facing the same challenges , and often under greater constraints . Why reinvent the wheel ? Let ’ s learn from one another and work together to combat water challenges . In this session , US water managers will be able to hear and learn from global water managers as to what water management challenges they face and how they have or plan to overcome them . This session provides a platform for US and global water managers to connect and exchange ideas and experiences in overcoming the escalating water challenges .
