SEELEY INTERNATIONAL UNVEILS THE CLIMATE WIZARD CW80, AN INNOVATIVE COOLING UNIT OFFERING REFRIGERATION-LEVEL PERFORMANCE WITH UP TO 80 % LESS ENERGY CONSUMPTION
Unlike traditional air conditioning, the CW80 uses water as a refrigerant to reach supply temperatures similar to refrigeration systems, helping customers lower energy use and carbon emissions without sacrificing comfort.
Capable of delivering up to 30,600 m ³/ h airflow at 270 Pa and cooling up to 234 kW, the unit supports demanding installations, including large industrial spaces.
The Multi-Cycle Core uses staged heat exchange to maximize efficiency, providing stable, low-temperature air without adding moisture or using synthetic refrigerants.
Worldwide installations
The CW80 has proven its versatility globally, with projects like Constellation brewery in Mexico( 12 units, 1,182 kW cooling) and Adelaide’ s Carbon Neutral office( two units, 44,640 m ³/ h precooled air for over 9,300 m ²).
The CW80 is debuting at Mostra Convegno Expocomfort( MCE) in Milan, March 24 – 27, 2026. The unit features a proprietary Multi Cycle Core that delivers indirect evaporative cooling with an EER up to 19, providing 100 % fresh, filtered air for improved indoor air quality.
