PULS EXPANDS ITS FIELD POWER SUPPLY PORTFOLIO FOR DECENTRALISED INDUSTRIAL APPLICATIONS
PULS now offers the industry’ s broadest portfolio of decentralised field power supplies, with the recent introduction of new low-power( 100 W, 200 W) and high-power( 1400 W) variants. These additions complement the established 360 W and 600 W product range, enabling scalable power solutions for virtually unlimited industrial applications, including intralogistics, factory automation, industrial control, conveyor systems, materials handling, storage technology and robotics.
The rugged, IP-rated FIEPOS field power supplies are designed specifically for decentralised electrical and electronic systems. Supporting local control and optional IO-Link communication, the units can be installed directly in the field without an additional enclosure and are available with IP54, IP65 and IP67 protection for reliable operation and protection against ingress of dust and water.
By relocating the power supply from centralised control cabinets to the field, machine builders and system integrators benefit from reduced enclosure size, lower internal heat dissipation and greater freedom in system design. Field power supplies can be mounted directly on machines, walls or DIN rails, simplifying installation and cabling. Decentralisation also facilitates modular system expansion and reconfiguration, reduces commissioning effort and significantly simplifies maintenance. In many applications, conventional control cabinets can be downsized or eliminated entirely.
A structured portfolio across three power classes
The FIEPOS product family is clearly structured into three power segments to meet diverse application requirements.
• Low power
The single-phase FPS100 and FPS200 deliver 94 W and 200 W, respectively, at 24 V DC, achieving an efficiency of up to 95.1 %. With IP65 and IP67 protection, continuous output ratings of up to 200 W, and NEC Class 2 or dual NEC Class 2 compliance, these compact units are optimised for harsh field environments and a high level of safety protection. The FPS100 and FPS200 offer an exceptionally long service life of more than 200,000 hours, ensuring maximum reliability in low-power decentralised applications.
• Mid Power
The mid-power range comprises IP65 and IP67 field power supplies with continuous output ratings of 360 W and 600 W, available in both single-phase and three-phase variants. With efficiencies of up to 95.8 %, these devices are designed for reliable full-load operation across a wide temperature range from – 30 ° C to + 55 ° C. Short-term peak power capabilities of up to 600 W( FPS300 / FPT300) or 1000 W( FPH500 / FPT500), combined with low inrush current, optional electronic fuse variants and intelligent monitoring via IO-Link or Output-OK interfaces, ensure safe, efficient and connected power distribution directly at field level.
• High power
The latest additions to the portfolio( available in Q4 2026), the IP65 and IP67 three-phase FPT1400, deliver up to 1400 W from a 380 – 500 V AC input. Providing high-power 24 V and 48 V DC outputs, these units integrate several options such as IO-Link connectivity, safety-relevant functions like Safe Torque Off( STO), an integrated brake chopper, up to four electronic fuses, advanced branch protection, and up to two NEC Class 2 outputs. The high-power models combine exceptional performance with intelligent protection, ensuring reliable power distribution even under the harshest industrial conditions.
PULS has significantly expanded its FIEPOS field power supply range, offering a comprehensive portfolio from 94 W to 1400 W. With high efficiency, robust IP protection and advanced communication and safety features, the decentralised power supplies enable flexible, scalable and reliable power distribution directly at field level.
