TEKNOMEK EXPANDS HYGIENIC SEATING RANGE WITH ISO LEVEL 3 CLEANROOM CHAIRS
Hygienic furniture and equipment specialist Teknomek has further expanded its range of highquality products for the cleanroom and laboratory sectors with the addition of selected Bimos chairs and stools .
From February 2025 , Teknomek customers will be able to order four Bimos products : The Bimos Labsit chair has been designed to support environments where contamination of products and processes must be avoided at all costs .
Certified for ISO Level 3 cleanrooms , typically used in industries like pharmaceuticals , aerospace and nanotechnology where extreme cleanliness is required , Labsit chairs actively contribute to the adherence of strict contamination control standards With a stylish , hygienic design , compact dimensions , ergonomic construction and user comfort , the Labsit masters all the challenges faced by the modern laboratory chair . Also designed to meet the hygienic requirements of ISO Level 3 cleanrooms , are the Bimos basic cleanroom chair and stool .
All upholstery is sealed and attached to the frame using back-foaming technology . The chairs have smooth , closed surfaces at the seat and backrest shell , preventing any particle deposits collecting on the chair in cleanroom environments where the air is constantly moved by HVAC systems . A closed construction seals off all moving parts of the chair mechanics and this prevents an outward release of particles . Without compromising on comfort , the cleanroom chair and stool can withstand the harshest cleaning regimes .
The Bimos saddle stool is ideal for elevated workstations , especially where mobility is required or legroom is limited . Robust and flexible , the stool has extra-large castors to allow smooth running and easy movement . It is soft and comfortable and allows for ergonomic sitting even with frequent changes of position . Thanks to the intuitive seat height adjustment , it can be easily adapted to elevated workstations and different body heights . The stool is easy to clean making it perfect for laboratory and ultra-clean environments with a cleanroom saddle stool also available .
ESD versions of all the new seating options will be available . The ESD versions provide a hygienic solution for environments where electrostatic discharges protection is essential .
