Parking — Current parking rates at the Hyatt Regency Chicago are $ 65 + per night for self-parking and $ 79 + per night for valet parking .
Transportation
From O ’ Hare International Airport ( ORD ) 17 miles ( Downtown )
Taxi , Towncar , Luxury Vehicle and Limousine Service : Taxi stands are located at each terminal on the lower level , at the curb outside of Baggage Claim .
Rideshare ( Uber , Lyft , etc .): Loading zones for rideshare services are on the upper level of Terminal 1 , 2 and 3 , and lower level of Terminal 5 across from Exit Door 5B . Uber Black or SUV will pick up on the lower level .
CTA trains ( The ‘ L ’): The O ’ Hare station is located on the lowerlevel concourse , which connects airline Terminals 1 , 2 and 3 . Visit www . transitchicago . com / planatrip for more information about getting to and from the airport .
From Midway Airport ( MDW ) 10 miles ( Downtown )
Taxi , Towncar , Luxury Vehicle and Limousine Service : Taxi stands are located on the lower level , at the curb outside of the terminals . All Chicago taxis are licensed and recognizable by the numbered metal medallions attached to their hoods .
Rideshare ( Uber , Lyft , etc .): The loading zone for rideshare services is on the upper level near Door 1 .
CTA trains ( the ‘ L ’): The Midway station is located east of the airport terminal , connected via a walkway . Visit www . transitchicago . com / planatrip for more information about getting to and from the airport .
AAO Shuttle Service
Shuttle bus service is provided for meeting attendees during meeting hours on Saturday , October 1 , and Sunday , October 2 . All shuttles stop at McCormick Place where attendees can transfer to the Hyatt Regency Chicago route . If you plan to use the AAO shuttle service , allow plenty of time for travel — the shuttle busses stop at several hotels in addition to the transfer at McCormick Place , located three miles from downtown . Attendees staying downtown might consider walking , taxis or ride-share services to save time . There is very limited service on Friday , September 30 .
Vaccination and Mask Protocols
IJCAHPO is committed to keeping your health and safety a priority . IJCAHPO continues to follow all health and safety guidelines and on-site attendees / staff will be required to comply with all Center for Disease Control ( CDC ) protocols . IJCAHPO follows the most current CDC guidelines and has the right to update our requirements accordingly .
IJCAHPO will no longer require proof of vaccination or negative COVID test .
NOTE : All attendees voluntarily assume all risks related to exposure to COVID-19 when attending IJCAHPO meetings and events . All program participants will be required to follow all IJCAHPO and hotel protocols . Masks
IJCAHPO strongly recommends that attendees wear masks regardless of any local regulations and mandates .
Vaccinations
IJCAHPO recommends that all meeting participants , including staff , exhibitors , and guests :
1 . Be fully vaccinated for COVID-19 ; and
2 . Take a COVID-19 test within 48 hours of the program start that shows a negative test result .
Registering On-Site
You will not need to show proof of COVID-19 vaccination or negative PCR COVID test to register on-site .
