It was a few months later when he heard news of some Imperial guards looking for a lost boy who had run away, and that the boy's parents were worried and wanted him home. He new these were tricks to deceive the public into turning him in so he packed up his things and left. He decided his only option was to leave Cyrodiil. Halvy went north into Skyrim. He found a town named Falkreath where a local Nord bard saw the scrawny and starving child. The bard asked the boy where his parents were and Halvy explained his situation. The bard felt terrible for the child and what he had gone through so he adopted Halvy as his own. Halvy grew up in the cold and was raised to be as tough as a Nord. He always seemed to have the witty tongue of an Imperial, just like his father, which always got him into trouble, but it seemed to get him out of even more trouble then it put him in.
Many years passed and Halvy had reached the age of 18. The Bard had passed away earlier that year, but before he went he had one bit of advice to give Halvy with his final breaths.
