The organisation ’ s corporate objectives , as set out in our latest Board approved business plan , are split into three strands : Meeting Need ; Great Housing and Services and Good to Great . A summary of the key objectives are set out below with targets set to be achieved by 2025 :
Key Objective 1
Meeting Need
n Have 20,000 homes in management ;
n Increase the number of homes manufactured through LoCaL Homes and sale of products to external partners ;
n Further improve the quality , value and range of health and social care services ;
n Continue to provide solutions to homelessness and the causes of homelessness , working with a range of partners ;
n Create volunteering , apprenticeships and employment for customers and their families .
Key Objective 2
Great Housing & Services
n Further develop Accord ’ s person-centered approach to housing , asset management , care and community services to create efficiency and improve satisfaction ;
n Continued implementation of strategic stock investment and review ensuring homes are safe and secure ;
n Further develop a competitive and efficient in-house maintenance team ;
n Further develop environmental policies across all elements of the organisation , as well as significantly improving existing units to ensure they remain high quality homes and help reduce fuel poverty for customers .
Key Objective 3
Good to Great
n Have achieved £ 150 million turnover , approaching £ 15 million surplus , to plough back into our work to support those most in need ;
n Increase meaningful customer engagement and ensure the tenant voice is heard ;
n Develop new and existing stakeholder relationships ;
n Have further enhanced and developed governance arrangements to attain excellence in governing standards .
