We will have a special guest speaker at this event so bring your Etiquette
Julie Wakefield is an educator, facilitator, public speaker, and
business woman. She learned early in life that understanding protocol
and etiquette would open doors of opportunity. Success begins with
knowing how to develop trust and build relationships. Soft skills such
as making a good first impression, holding relevant conversations
with clients and acquaintances, and understanding cultural differences are the keys to breaking barriers and accomplishing goals.
Julie understands that success includes education,
experience, and determination. She says, “Successful
people have an accomplished skill set; however, they
must also have the interpersonal skills to establish
relationships both personally and professionally.”Her
goal is to give all professionals the tools they need to
reach their goals and be successful in life.
Julie began her career in economic development where she trained
small businesses in government procurement and international
marketing. She also worked as a training coordinator where she
developed classes for companies in her community.
Julie holds a bachelor’s degree in marketing and a
master’s degree in educational administration. She is
also a certified protocol and etiquette consultant
through the Protocol School of Washington.
Her love of teaching andeyp/.kw/htp: w .lin edincomcom an /ac s -busines -centeworking with business owners led to a
