The Stones to return to North American stadiums
The Rolling Stones have announced that they will play 15 stadiums dates in North America next year , and will perform at the New Orleans Jazz & Heritage Festival . The Stones Tour ’ 24 : Hackney Diamonds , promoted by AEG Presents ’ Concerts West , will commence on 28 April at Houston ’ s NRG Stadium and include shows across the USA and in Canada before closing on 17 July at Levi ’ s Stadium in Santa Clara , California . Last year , the band undertook their first European tour without drummer Charlie Watts ; who died August 2021 .

Customers pay with emotions at Avicii Arena
A new outlet has been opened at ASM Global ’ s Avicii Arena in Stockholm that enables customers to “ pay with their emotions ”. Unveiled as part of the Break The Silence initiative , to raise awareness around young people ’ s mental health , the store offers exclusive items to customers who are required to scan a QR code and answer questions focused around their emotional state in that moment . They are then given a digital receipt and handed limited-edition items .

Live music tickets sales up nearly 50 %
Ticket sales for live music events in Spain are up 48 % year-on-year , with average expenditure on tickets having risen 37 % to € 80 (£ 69 ), according to research conducted by IV Ticketmaster Observatory . As reported by APMusicales , the findings follow analysis of transactions made on Ticketmaster Spain ’ s platforms from 1 August 2022 to 31 July 2023 . Among the key findings was that tickets purchased by those in the 18-to-24-year-old age group were up 45 % on the previous period .

Police investigate Taylor Swift promoter
Time for Fun , the promoter of Taylor Swift ’ s show at the Estádio Nilton Santos in Rio de Janeiro on 17 November , is reportedly being investigated by the Brazilian police after a 23-year-old fan died at the event . Ana Clara Benevides died in hospital after she attended the show , which took place during a heatwave with the temperature hitting 39 ° C on the day of the concert . The promoter said a ban on fans bringing their own water bottles into the venue was the result of “ a requirement made by public bodies ”.
